We're hiring! Delivery and Student Services Assistant

  • Location: Glasgow
  • Part time: 21 hours per week, flexible hours to be agreed with manager

The Role

This role will be supporting the delivery and student services team with daily administrative tasks, helping the team stay organised and supporting team meetings and activities. If you’ve had experience supporting a busy team, or worked within a customer experience/success role we’d love to hear from you. This is a part time role with flexible working hours based in our Glasgow Campus (hybrid working is available). The position may require limited travel to our Edinburgh campus.


  • Arranging 1-1s & regular team meetings
  • Note taking, agendas and actions at team meetings
  • Keeping track of key commitments for the team, including deadlines
  • Track enablement and personal development of team members
  • Creating presentations for meetings
  • Keeping SQA student records up to date on SQA system
  • Monitoring SQA site for relevant changes and updating policy documents
  • Issuing surveys, collating and distributing feedback
  • Supporting Glasgow campus, events, graduations etc
  • Glasgow facility coordination

What you’ll bring to the role

  • 1-5 years experience in a similar role working in a support capacity
  • Exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage priorities and competing demands
  • The ability to confidently present to C level and Department Heads
  • Stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, ‘can do’ attitude to problem solving
  • Enthusiastic, collaborative, adaptable and flexible team player
  • A thirst for learning and continuous improvement

Desired skills and experience

  • Experience working with calendar and presentation software
  • Experience in the creation of reports
  • Ability to work confidently with google suite and familiarity with macbook
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
