The role

We’ll need you to collect and coordinate performance metrics across the business with a focus on reporting and analysis to support informed decision making at both operational and strategic levels. Whilst the position will report to the Head of Business Operations (HoBO), you will be required to work collaboratively with the department heads. In doing so you will ensure we have the right metrics and key performance indicators in place and that we are tracking these effectively to support all operational areas of the business. You will assume a SME role within CodeClan and assist with coordinating our CRM activities which supports the pre and post sales processes of the business.

If you’ve had sales or marketing operations experience, or worked within a customer experience/success role with a data focus across multiple departments we’d love to hear from you.

This is a part time role with flexible working hours based in our Edinburgh campus at Castle Terrace (hybrid working is available). The position may require limited travel to our Glasgow campus at Clockwise.

Responsibilities

  • Accurate management information and reporting that supports informed business decision making at both operational and strategic levels
  • Accurate and up to date key performance measures (including KPIs) as agreed with the CEO/HoBO aimed at improving efficiency and sustainability across the organisation
  • Tracking of key performance indicators across appropriate business areas
  • Creation of presentations on KPi indicators and presentation of results to the dept heads and CEO/HoBO
  • Support systems integration across the business and specifically supporting sales, marketing and delivery CRM administration
  • Assist in the roll out of our new hiring hub application and create reporting as required
  • Ability to confidently and effectively communicate with stakeholders across all levels
  • Provision of training, onboarding and ongoing support

What you’ll bring to the role

  • 1-5 years experience in a similar role working in business operations or working with Sales and Marketing departments in an operational support capacity
  • The ability to present to C level and Department heads on a regular basis
  • Stakeholder management skills
  • Exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage priorities and competing demands
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to run professional meetings, co-ordinate agendas and meet outcomes
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, ‘can do’ attitude to problem solving
    Enthusiastic, collaborative, adaptable and flexible team player
  • A thirst for learning and continuous improvement

Desired skills and experience

  • Ability to create monthly reports and be able to present findings on KPis and see trends
  • Experience in the creation of reporting dashboards and system integrations (CRM etc)
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
