If you’d like to learn more about what makes a successful application, you can read advice from our Admission Manager here.
2. Meet your cohort and get up to speed
Three weeks before your cohort begins training, you’ll get the chance to meet your cohort, get set up with your laptop and then get cracking with your pre-course work.
Your pre-course work will get you familiar with the basic terminology related to software development, understand some basic concepts and ensure you’re comfortable with navigating the development environment of a Mac.
3. Begin your training
Start your training at CodeClan – during your course you’ll immerse yourself in technologies like JavaScript, Java, SQL, React, methodologies used by digital businesses and a host of career support and holistic training opportunities.
4. Start preparing for your next career move
During the course you’ll have access to our coaching sessions and careers focused workshops designed to help you complete your training with a new technically focused profile which promotes your new skills whilst showcasing your transferable experience. You’ll get guidance on preparing for interviews and what value-add employers are looking for, how to utilise your soft skills in combination with your new technical skills and you’ll also have the chance to gain valuable insights and meet key figures within the Scottish digital scene at our Industry Talks.
5. Graduation time!
