5 steps to a new career in data analysis by autumn

Thanks to our remote Professional Data Analysis course, you have an opportunity to immerse yourself in a challenging training environment, get introduced to some of the most exciting and innovative companies in Scotland’s digital industry and kick-start a career you love.

You could be changing career into a brand-new digital role by October by applying for our upcoming remote cohort.

Here’s a timeline for achieving that goal

1. Get your application in for Cohort D10

Remote training starts for Cohort D10 on Monday 19th July.

If your application is successful, you’ll be invited for an interview.

2. Meet your cohort and get up to speed

Two weeks before your cohort begins training, you’ll join a zoom call with everyone and then get cracking with your pre-course work.

This purpose of this first phase of training is to get you familiar with the basic terminology related to data analysis, understand some basic concepts and get comfortable with navigating the development environment of a Mac.

3. Begin your remote training

Start your remote training at CodeClan – during your 14-weeks you’ll immerse yourself in the key data analysis technologies and techniques like SQL, R, predictive analytics and statistics and visualisations, all used by digital businesses, and a host of career support and holistic training opportunities. 4. Start preparing for your new job

During the course you’ll have access to our coaching sessions and workshops designed to help you come out of your training with the best CV and interview skills we can offer. You’ll also have the chance meet potential employers at Project Showcases, Industry Talks, and more.

5. Graduation time!

Cohort D10 graduates on 22nd October.

You’ll have learned an immense amount about tools, technologies and techniques used in data analysis plus how to learn effectively, and thrive in an industry setting. You’ll have completed projects, met employers and will be ready for your first interviews.
