We’re pleased to announce the appointment of our new Chief Executive Officer.
Melinda Matthews Clarkson, a former senior figure at IBM who has more than 25 years experience in the technology sector, says she plans to grow the organisation, extend our operations beyond the Central Belt, and expand our successful partnerships with business in the months ahead.
Originally from the US, Melinda has lived in Scotland for the past 10 years, and was until recently Vice President of Commerce Partnerships at IBM. She has been deeply involved in bringing a range of new product offerings in Cloud, SaaS, eCommerce and Digital Marketing to the marketplace.
Although she was aware of CodeClan before being approached about becoming CEO, Melinda admits that the more she explored, the more excited she became about joining the company.
Melinda’s appointment follows on from the news earlier this week that we’ve now placed 200 graduates in jobs in digital and that we’ll be doubling the number of cohorts we offer in Glasgow in 2018. She takes over from acting CEO, Adam Bannon.
