We’re celebrating winning the award for Best Education/Training provider at the ScotlandIS Digital Tech Awards 2018.
This week we’re feeling a little happy deja vu as we celebrate a second win for CodeClan at the ScotlandIS Digital Tech Awards.
The Digital Technologies Awards celebrate Scotland’s digital industry and sees representatives from all sectors, including telecoms, IT and digital media, gather to celebrate and show their support for Scotland’s thriving tech industry.
This is a wonderful vote of confidence from the industry and we were up against some pretty inspiring contenders: Apps for Good, who provide free courses for teachers to help 10-18 year-olds to build mobile apps and IoT (internet of things) products, and The Data Lab, who do brilliant work feeding much-needed Data Science graduates into industry.
Making a difference
We’re very much sharing this award with everyone across the CodeClan community: students, staff, employers and sponsors. Our model is based on a collaborative, collective vision that requires immense commitment, hard-work and belief from everyone.
Winning this award again means we’re continuing to make a difference to individual lives and to the growing tech industry in Scotland. We’ve now trained more than 360 software developers and we’re continuing to build a network of companies who hire then, providing a steady stream of digital talent into the industry.

As with last year, we were delighted to share the stage with a number of companies who not only won awards in fiercely contested categories, but who are also part of our employer partner community, including FreeAgent, Craneware and Cognitive Geology who have all hired CodeClan graduates.
