Students working at CodeClan

CodeClan is Scotland’s most popular source of digital talent

We recently commissioned EKOS, an economic and social research consultancy based in Glasgow, to survey our employer partners in August.

One of the most impressive outcomes was that, within our first year of operation, CodeClan has become the most popular source of talent for our partners in their recruitment of coders/developers:

  • CodeClan – 18
  • Specialist Recruitment Agency – 17
  • Word of Mouth – 17
  • Business Networks – 16
  • HE or FE Careers Offices – 13
  • Adverts in Specialist/Trade Publications – 5
  • Newspaper Adverts – 3

As Dr Iain Jenkins of EKOS said :

“This is an encouraging finding, considering CodeClan has only been trading for 10 months. It is also noticeable that substantial use is made of informal mechanisms, such as networks and word of mouth, which is not surprising given the close linkages between many organisations in the local IT community.”

Hear from three of our partners on why they love CodeClan so much:

If you’re not one of the 80+ organisations already engaged with CodeClan, now might be a great time to find out what we can offer you in 2017 and beyond.

We’d be delighted to see you at one of our upcoming employer events, see Eventbrite for full dates and booking information.
