As 2016 draws to a close, CodeClan’s Head of Curriculum, Sara Dodd, introduces our first batch of 2017 evening courses.
If the final weeks of 2016 have found you reconsidering your current career or wanting to upgrade your skill-set, we have some courses that should be of interest in early 2017.
First up is our 10-week Intro to Programming course, a great start for those who want to learn the core concepts and principles of OO programming using Ruby, a general-purpose (and easy to learn) language. No prior coding experience is necessary.
Hear what one student thought of the course.
Alternatively, take our self-paced Python course, allowing you to learn one of the most popular programming languages at your own speed, enhanced by expert lectures online materials and one-to-one support. Find out why 2017 is the time to take the plunge into Python.
In addition, as a CodeClan student, you can attend regular industry talks, tech meet-ups and networking events.
Coding for Professionals
If you think the people you work with could benefit from understanding how tech teams think and work, then get them to sign up for our unique Coding for Professionals 3-day course exploring the tools, techniques and terminology used by digital teams.
They’ll get their heads into the programming ‘mindset’ and will build a simple web application from start to finish by the end – find out how previous students enjoyed the course.
Add the 2-day Agile Leadership course to the mix to make up a comprehensive week of total engagement with today’s technology teams.
Hopefully we’ll see you in 2017!
