Coding events for all ages to help build confidence and digital skills this September.
National Coding Week returns to CodeClan from 17th September, a chance for anyone’s who’s been thinking of trying to code (and maybe a few who have never considered it) to come along to events in Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Prosecco & Programming
Our Prosecco & Programming events take place in Edinburgh and Glasgow on Wednesday 19th September and are open to women who are keen to try their hand at coding. With employers keen to recruit more women into digital roles, there’s never been a better time to learn a new skill in the form of programming.
CoderDojo
Younger coders are catered for with our latest CoderDojo event at our Edinburgh campus – you don’t need any coding experience to come along and anyone aged 7 – 17 is welcome. Come along and have a go at making your own game, website, stories and much more!
Code & Coffee Morning
Thinking of changing career into digital? At CodeClan, we help more than 300 people a year retrain into digital in just 16-weeks, but the industry needs even more new recruits to continue its growth. For our first Code & Coffee Morning on Friday 21st September we’ve invited some leading names from around Scotland’s digital tech sector to each discuss in just five minutes their experience creating jobs and recruiting new staff.
Taster events
Finally, there’s a chance to write your first computer program at our ever-popular coding taster sessions on Saturday 22nd September. Come along to our Glasgow or Edinburgh campus and join our instructors as they take you through the basics of programming.
