We're Hiring: Industry Talent / Careers Manager
Would you like to join an award winning organisation providing an intensive programming course heavily geared to employability for people across Scotland in digital technologies roles? We are an expanding digital skills academy with an opportunity for someone to help expand the industry awareness of our graduates and supporting them into employment thus helping to build the digital workforce of the future.
With campuses in Edinburgh and Glasgow this is a unique opportunity to help build on our success, providing advice, support and guidance to students to help them transform their lives and find a new career in tech and to understand the skill needs of Scotland’s growing technical environment.
In this highly rewarding role you’ll manage the process for successfully preparing and placing graduates in a variety of tech roles, assessing their skills and helping them find the position best suited to their individual skills. Working alongside a dedicated team providing end to end support for students and industry partners, you’ll play a pivotal role in successfully placing graduates in tech jobs and achieving defined KPIs.
You’ll liaise with our industry partners about their hiring plans, helping to identify potential roles and providing support to help match graduates with suitable roles through a robust career preparation and application process. You’ll also liaise with the instructor team and wider operations and marketing team to ensure that there is an appropriate balance of employment related activity within the curriculum schedule.
You’ll support and coordinate a programme of industry engagement activities designed to help students identify potential employers, such as employer talks and networking events.
We’re looking for people with experience in the technical / software industry plus providing careers advice and guidance to clients preferably working in an education or technology skills context.
