Learning to code in 16-weeks is a big commitment and this course and career path may not be for everyone.
Our 7-step application and on-boarding process ensures that students enrolled on to the course are ready for this immersive learning and career changing experience.
If you haven’t done this yet, you can do so now. Take the time to fill this out with as much detail as you can.
Please note: You must be over the age of 18 to apply. Unfortunately we cannot sponsor visas so please ensure you have the right to live, study and work in the UK before applying.
We’ll contact you to discuss your application. Our Admissions team will talk to you about your ideas, motives for joining the course and expectations for the future. It can take a few days for us to get in touch — we’ll do our best, but please be patient.
You’ll complete a short coding challenge in your own time. No prior knowledge required, we’ll direct you to the necessary learning resources and ask you to write some code.
Our Admissions team will welcome you to campus and show you around. You’ll complete a short logic puzzle as part of the interview – but don’t panic, we’ll walk you through it. You’ll also get a chance to ask us questions about CodeClan and the course.
We’ll make you an offer to join us on the course, assuming you have met our selection criteria. You will then be asked to pay a deposit within 30 days of your offer.
You’ll be invited to a ‘Meet Your Cohort’ event three weeks prior to the course start date – a chance to meet your fellow class mates and some of the Codeclan team. You’ll also be given access to our pre-course work to complete from home.
Your learning on campus begins! For the next 16-weeks you’ll be based at our Edinburgh or Glasgow campus. Our campuses are open from 8am to 7pm Monday to Friday.
Good luck!
We have cohorts starting regularly both in Edinburgh and Glasgow. The earlier you apply the more chance you have of getting on to your prefered cohort.
