R Level 2: Data Visualisations

Course overview

This course will help you develop skills in R packages ggplot to be able to discover and communicate insights through graphs.

Learn in an immersive environment and stay motivated. What could take you several weeks, or even months, to learn on a self-paced online course will only take you a day in our Virtual Learning Environment – a fully interactive, live learning experience led by our expert instructors.

In one day you will learn:

How to build and customise plots with different layouts, colours and themes
Which types of charts are best for different data
Principles for building visualisations and how to make effective plots

Part of the R Series

Data Visualisations is the second course in our R Series and is ideal for anyone experienced in R and Tidyverse who aspires to visualise data and drive decision-making.

As a prerequisite, you will need some experience in data analysis with R and Tidyverse. If you don’t have this experience take a look at our Data for Beginners (R) course, the first course in the series.

R Level 2: Data Visualisations runs consecutively over three days with the third course in the series, R Level 3: Interactive Data Dashboards.
