During our bootcamp we will give you a strong foundation in coding skills that employers are looking for in multiple fields such as tech, gaming, sports, design, advertising, fashion and media.
In just four weeks, you will gain core skills needed for a lucrative industry that doesn’t show signs of slowing down.
Beginning with HTML fundamentals — like tags, text-formatting, and layouts — you'll learn the basics of web design.
Get started with programming! Learn the fundamentals of JavaScript for building dynamic websites.
When you're ready to get creative, we'll show you how to add colour and images to your website by learning to work with CSS!
Gain insights into different tech careers with our informative career sessions - one from our support team here at CodeClan, and the other from a local Tayside company.
Upon completion you will be presented with a certificate outlining successful completion of the course at level SCQF Level 7.
Our qualifications are industry recognised and can be used to show to potential employers.
You don’t need any programming or prior experience to join CodeClan Youth Academy – even beginners are welcomed with open arms.
We also supply laptops for you to work from and travel and childcare support is included!
Thanks to Tay Cities Deal this course is fully funded for those who live in the Tay Cities Region and who are looking to upskill or pursue a career in software development.
By the end of this course, you will demonstrate your learnings and knowledge with a project that you can use to gain further training or show employers.
The course will be delivered in person at the Perth Creative Exchange which is accessible with regular transport links within the Tay Cities Region.

Our Youth Academy Bootcamp is open to anyone aged between 16 and 24 years old who resides in the Tay City region. You don’t need any coding experience to join us as long as you have a problem solving attitude and a willingness to learn.

This course is assessed by a personal project that will be marked by our instructors. You will only receive your certification after successful completion of the course and having attended all classes.
We will reimburse you for your travel costs and any childcare costs whilst you are taking part in this course.
